«Rachmaninoff Variations»
One of the most exciting developments in Teodor's career is the upcoming release of his latest album,
«Rachmaninoff Variations», recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. «Rachmaninoff Variations» is a cycle assembled from several of the Rachmaninoff's preludes, and romances reinterpreted for the piano trio and vocals. The album provides a glimpse of how a contemporary composer views Rachmaninoff's legacy in a new global context. In this cycle, inescapable parallels emerge, and Rachmaninoff's loss of his homeland and its significance engenders deep empathy among many contemporaries.
Orchestral works
The composer has a dozen compositions for orchestra in his portfolio, the premiere of the orchestral suite
«La Suite Romana» was presented at Lerici Festival in Italy with La Toscanini Orchestra, the Albanian National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Tirana and in London with London City Philharmonic Orchestra.
Theatre performances
Composer of the first classical opera in an immersive format in the world, created jointly with invited soloists of the Bolshoi Theater and with Moscow Opera House. In
2023, two striking theater premieres showcased the captivating music composed by Teodor: «Theatre of Gulags» in London and «Say That You Love Me» in Madrid.
Worldwide performances
More than 150 concerts on six continents, from Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall, from private members' clubs in London to multimedia theatres in Dubai, from MusikVerein in Vienna to jazz clubs in New Delhi. Music for fashion shows, presentations and exhibitions.
